The Randleman Chamber is calling on local businesses to help replace the Randleman Christmas decorations. It is estimated that a minimum of $25,000 will be needed to replace the decorations that were purchased nearly 20 years ago.
“It has been brought to our attention by several citizens within our community as well as local business leaders, the deterioration of Randleman's Christmas decorations,” stated David Caughron, executive director and CEO of the Randleman Chamber of Commerce, in a letter sent to members in February. “These decorations have served our community well, but it is time for us to look into purchasing new ones for our future.”
According to Caughron, in order for the Chamber to take advantage of special pricing, the decorations need to be ordered by April 2008. “This is the Chamber's 60th Anniversary. We would be very proud to be to be able to add these new decorations to our community in honor of this anniversary.”
Contact the Randleman Chamber of Commerce at 336-495-1100 for information about making a donation to the Christmas Light Fund.
