Fans are racing to NASCAR attraction

(NAPSI)-The RCR Racing Museum is a must-see for all racing fans. Located at the RCR (Richard Childress Racing) campus in Welcome, N.C., the RCR Racing Museum is a 47,000-square-foot facility that allows fans "under the hood" of the 11-time NASCAR championship organization.

A unique museum gives fans an under-the-hood view of NASCAR.

The interactive museum, located in the same building where the famed No. 3 teams earned all six of their NASCAR Cup Series championships, contains nearly 50 race vehicles, including the 1998 Daytona 500 winner driven by the legendary Dale Earnhardt. The 2007 Daytona 500 Champion's race car, driven by Kevin Harvick, will be on display in February 2008.

With new displays and features--including a memory wall and an interactive Shell-Pennzoil display where fans can win free gasoline--the museum has something for loyal fans and newcomers alike.

Special events, such as fan appreciation day, allow fans a chance to meet the drivers they cheer on throughout the year. RCR's "Fan Day" draws thousands of fans who attend driver autograph sessions and tour the race shop.

The RCR Racing Museum is a must-see pit stop for all race fans. For more information, call 1-800-476-3389 or visit www.RCRracing.com.
